Arise

Take heart,
fret no more at the dragon's fury.
See even now,
darkness recedes
before the Mighty One.
His foes cringe
at the thunder of His roar.

Glory be to Him who reigns forever,
the Kingdom is triumphant.
The Lion has prevailed!
The record is true.
Now is the time to be strong.
The new dawn is breaking.

In celestial courts above,
hosts without number bow before Him
who holds the scepter of God in His hand.
His Heavenly banners spread
over earth's battlefields.

Therefore do not fear.
Giants will again walk the earth.
Before the end, creation will witness,
in the realm of the spirit,
marching into the final battlefields,
those who wield the sword
and overcome like David.

Some, like Apollos will boldly arise,
being mighty in the scriptures
and decree the oracles of God.
Triumphant like the son of Nun,
they will confront darkness
and seize new Kingdom territories.

As did Esther the queen
others will intercede
then risk execution,
in order that deliverance
may come to the masses.

Some will go forth
like the hosts of Gideon,
trumpeting the fall of Babylon,
while others will camp together,
having one language
as bondservants of the Lamb,
ambassadors of the New Jerusalem.

For all these
there will be but one faith,
one Spirit and one baptism.
It is the prophetic age
into which you have come.
Arise. The time is at hand!
